“Tourism Geoinformation Center – TravelGIS” researches touristic resources, projects new touristic routs and creates centralized geodatabase which is accessible for everybody.

We have created mobile and web application which is irreplaceable tool while travelling. After choosing desired tour, you will be able to follow the route and see geographic, photo and textual information on the interactive map. Information contains details such as necessary attributes, condition of roads, touristic objects and their history.

Our aims and goals are the following:

• Creation of national geo-informational system of tourism and its integration into the world geo-informational system of tourism;
• Insertion of geodata of urgent touristic objects on the touristic geo-informational map with its adequate visual and textual information;
• Participation in the creation and completion of tourism educational programs.

Organization was founded in 2011 by Dr. Konstantin Abuladze and Dr. Sergo Tsiramua.
